I'm going to college again?
I understand that this is a reality not a question, I'm more looking for the opinion of qualified teachers. I expected to ask GTTR (teacher training in Scotland) to study post-graduate next month to begin in 2009. I have a BA (Hons) in Business have the correct classification of higher mathematics and I'm studying English as a kind of late now, I also have 1 year experience in a nursery that I have before going to the UNI (which I think will it help?). Am I likely to be accepted on the PGCE course and competition is very tough?
The competition is tough, but sounds like you may have a good chance of getting through. It would be more relevant if it has experience in a school – even if only on a voluntary basis, but a nursery continues to work with children. If you do not get this year I recommend you get some experience in a school before applying again. Good luck.
