business plan urgent care

Every business has problems. Therefore, the average life of a large industrial company is 40 years. Some are learning disabilities where companies are unwilling to learn from their mistakes. They insist on doing the same thing every time. Even when problems occur is not considered the cause of the problem. The problem is an embarrassment to be swept under the rug and forgotten rather than be used as a learning opportunity. Handling these dilemmas and disabilities is the management team. Below is a quote of a book by Peter Senge "The Fifth Discipline, the Art and Practice of Learning Organization.Â" Does this sound like your company? If it does start worrying!

The Myth of the Management Team

Standing forward to wrestle with these dilemmas and disabilities is a "management team," the collection of expert, experienced managers who represent different functions of the Organization and areas of expertise. Together, they are supposed to solve the -functional complex issues that are critical for the organization. What confidence we have, in fact, that typical management teams can overcome these difficulties learning?
Too often, teams in business tend to spend their time fighting for turf, avoiding anything that will make them look bad personally, and pretend that everyone is behind a collective strategy Team – maintain the appearance of a cohesive team. To keep the image, trying to stifle dissent, people with serious reservations avoid stating publicly, and joint decisions are watered compromises reflecting what everyone can live with, or reflecting the views of a person imposed on the group. If they disagree, usually expressed ita feel so guilty, polarizes opinion, and does not reveal the underlying differences in assumptions and experience in a way that the team as a whole could learn.

"Most management teams break down under pressure," writes Chris Argyris Harvard's aa student learning time management teams.  "The team can work very well with routine issues. But when face complex problems that can cause embarrassment or threat, Â'teamness 'seems to go pot. "

Argyris argues that most managers have collaborative research inherently threatening. School teaches us not to admit that we do not know the answer, and most companies reinforce that lesson by rewarding those who can defend their views, not inquiring into complex issues. (When was the last time anyone was rewarded in your organization to raise hard questions about current policies of the Company, rather than solving urgent problems?) Even if they feel insecure or ignorant, learn to protect ourselves from the pain of uncertain or ignorant given. This process blocks our understanding of what threatens us. The consequence is what Argyris calls "incompetence qualified" A-teams full of people who are very good at keeping themselves from learning.

So how does your company until the battery? If your business is what Senge describes as organizationâ Â'Learning ', then there is no need to protect their territory, without accepting commitment, there is no need for management to know everything. In a Learning Organization of knowledge that employees have been used and each member of the management team is there to support the other. They realize that everyone wins if the team does well and they also know that failure is simply another term for a learning opportunity.

WouldnÂ't you like to work in an organization where your opinion counts and where you can make a difference in business success? Where Dona't to pretend to be busy, or pretend to know everything. So how to create a learning organization? It begins with the creation of learning people in learning teams then cascaded into a learning organization.

Through an effective process promoted by the team members learn to work together, learn from their mistakes and continually challenge their assumptions about reality. Above all, work together as a team to solve problems and improve results.

A learning organization is possible!
