Other Open / bar. trademark or copyright? ?
I open soon and I've had interest in opening a second location. This is my business plan franchising but much faster than expected. My question is regarding my name and logo should I copyright, trademark or should they?
Copyright is the written word of work and software, etc. Company logo is one element of a trademark, which need not be registered, provided that can demonstrate first use. The record is assured of exclusive use anywhere in the country.
