Years ago I read Michael Gerber E-Myth "and his views on the creation of a strong and successful business by business systems made sense I could not understand why it would.

A business system is simply a way of doing things. Includes procedures and processes. Now this may sound complicated, but it's not really about making the daily activities of the enterprise quickly and easily.

An example of Michael was on a hotel that was really good at customer service. When a customer returned for a second visit they found their favorite newspaper ready for them, just coffee, the bed became the way he liked, etc., all the things that made you feel your personal visit. What was done was simply recording their preferences and their use each time you visit. When the visitor arrives at the hotel they fill out a card (form) tick all the preferences, such as newspapers, coffee and tea, etc., and the card is kept in file and used when they return so everything seems perfect. Also on the card are staff comments on preferences than it was even stronger.

Now most of us are probably running game plan hotels or B & B so this example may initially seem unrelated, but the idea of a reserve is shared between our industries.

I am independent party plan consultant with my own business and have developed systems business myself, but if you're working with a company's direct sales party plan should be able to offer a very strong and solid plan business party system.

When I book a party to fill out a form that I created in Word screenshot of the hostess and the party details. I a section for me to list a physical reminder of what I have to take as part of my team. I've done enough now that matches the nature of my kit is the second to me, but this section allows me to quickly train others who are working with or helping me and that helps me when I have both at the plate during times of more work that just needs a little support.

I have a form of sale so you can track sales both for my purposes of analysis sales, but also show customers how easy it is to obtain profits from the sales. I give my hostesses a reward for having the party, but most is on sale so the more sales of more jewelry gift credits to be obtained.

Also organized a contest for everyone in the party can come and find the newsletter via email about the results. The newsletter also allows me to communicate regularly with current and potential customers on designs, sales, parties, news releases, trade show exhibits and events. It is a very useful marketing tool that I think all companies should have.

All these forms and ways of doing this is all part of the business system for the next part of my business plan. When I started this I realize just what will be involved in organizing a party. Written instructions once, the development of a form (read a table in a Word document) once it does much easier for me to prepare things for a series of games in progress.

I have three folders for all this, one for the presentation of the parts completed one in my party plan kit with the way sales and how that competition, it also has information to give to hostesses to make reservations to the parties and third folder of all forms and brochure at home (the business system folder). For me it is easier to take into folders and organized, so you can use the valuable information in them for entrepreneurship.

I use Microsoft Word for my documents and forms and Editor of the prospectus. I have a color printer with low cost / / scanner, copier for printing (if you're gonna get a printer get an all in one setup). It's all very simple and really cheap. Need systems business to make money instead of costing me a lot of money for my hardware is actually a very cheap setup that does the work.

So take some time to work on their business and create business systems that make life easier and more profitable.
