Thriving in Recession – 8 Basics of a solid business plan
Are you ready for the recession? Here's how you can become a chance to survive and thrive: create your own online business and create an additional revenue stream.
Start a new online business does not mean that you have to leave your current job. You can configure it by extra work on evenings and weekends and maintain your current income, while income from your new business grows.
So what to do to maximize your chances of success in your new business?
Find something that is either good or passionate about. Then you need to research and plan properly.
Here are eight questions – answer them all for your situation and have the basis of a solid plan for your business:
1. What are your skills?
Can you teach? Can you write? Can you sell? Are you technically competent?
2. "What people want to buy? In a recession.
Luxuries and frivolous things will be on top of people shopping lists if they are struggling with the effects of the recession. Needs are.
3. Is there a market?
Is it There is a demand for it? How much would people be willing to pay for it? What will affect the demand for it (eg weather, strikes, competition) and how? How competitive is it? How much is your competition charging?
4. What will the process?
How what are you doing? How do you go to market and sell it? How can you deliver? How can you get people to pay for it?
5. What units?
What kind of facilities are required? Need external suppliers – if so what parts? Do you need licenses – in if so what license? Do you need special equipment? Need staff?
6. What are the costs?
The premises, materials raw, suppliers, marketing, supply, license fees, personal expenses, lawyers and accountants, the operating costs of day to day.
7. How much money can you make?
How much can you sell? How many can sell in a week / month / year? What sales channels are used? How will you promote?
8. Do you have enough money?
What are the costs of implementation? What costs of marketing and promotion? How long before it can break even? Where is the funding going to come?
No matter what business you're thinking, going through that list is a good way to ensure you have more things covered.
Use the answers to these questions to create your business plan.
And here is some good news: if you start an online business many of the items above do not apply.
With an online business of affiliate marketing, for example, initial costs would be negligible, and zero delivery logistics costs would not need special equipment or premises and there is no need for separate external suppliers.
But it still needs to develop a plan!
It is important to remember that if your business is online or offline, is still a business.
Do not be fooled by all the promises of easy money Online. It is simply not the case – if it was everyone would be doing it!
But, if you treat it as a real business can make a lot online money.
There are plenty of resources available to help with the development and promotion of their online business – just be sure to choose premium.
And be careful (and avoid) the sellers of snake oil: those who promise great monthly income to make just a couple of hours of work a month.
